I’ve been meaning to try this hamburger bowl recipe for a while now. Truth be told, I actually am not a fan of hamburgers. In fact, it is a joke with my parents and siblings because I used to get a headache and almost cry when my dad would fire up the charcoal grill. haha! I would sit there with that hamburger on my plate and of course, a cold hamburger is even worse! Everyone would be finished eating and leave the table, but I would have to sit there til I ate it…. awww! memories!
We recently got a Blackstone griddle grill and my husband has been wanting to fry up some burgers, so this was the perfect time to try this recipe! And guess what, I think this might have converted me to actually liking a hamburger! I much prefer it without a bun and with all these fun toppings!
It really is an easy meal for a low carb day, too.

Let me know what you think if you try it out!

• 2 lbs ground beef of your choice season the raw meat with 2 t salt
• 1/2 t pepper
• 3/4 t onion powder
• 1/2 t dried oregano
• 3/4 t garlic powder
• 1 t paprika
Mix the seasonings together then combine with the ground beef.
Saute the meat in a large skillet and crumble.
**NOTE: I went ahead and made them into patties because my husband
was eating the burgers on a bun. Either way is totally fine!
In the meantime, make the special sauce:
• 1/4 c mayo
• 1 T ketchup
• 1/2 T – 1 T yellow mustard
• 1 T pickle juice
• 1 T dill relish
• 1/4 t garlic powder
• 1/4 t onion powder
• 1/2 t paprika
Combine in a small bowl and set aside.
Assemble the bowl:
romaine lettuce
pickles
tomatoes
avocado
Everything but the Bagel Seasoning (optional, but great addition)
