Valentine’s Chocolate

It’s no secret I’m a chocolate lover! Give me a chocolate treat over chips and crackers any day! Here are some treats that are decadent without completely blowing your healthy eating habits.

(function(jQuery) {
function init() { window.wSlideshow && window.wSlideshow.render({elementID:”480343293356377295″,nav:”thumbnails”,navLocation:”right”,captionLocation:”top”,transition:”slide”,autoplay:”0″,speed:”5″,aspectRatio:”auto”,showControls:”true”,randomStart:”false”,images:[{“url”:”1/2/7/4/127468994/1.png”,”width”:”800″,”height”:”800″},{“url”:”1/2/7/4/127468994/2.png”,”width”:”800″,”height”:”800″},{“url”:”1/2/7/4/127468994/3.png”,”width”:”800″,”height”:”800″},{“url”:”1/2/7/4/127468994/4.png”,”width”:”800″,”height”:”800″},{“url”:”1/2/7/4/127468994/5.png”,”width”:”800″,”height”:”800″}]}) }

More of a box-mix type of baker? How about these Keto brownie and box cake mixes from Good Life Nutrition in Marion? (or found on Amazon if you are not in Southern Illinois)
I just followed the package directions, I used melted coconut oil for both recipes. I topped the brownies lightly with powdered sugar and strawberries. I topped the cake with a generous layer of Truwhip.
For both recipes make sure you do not over bake. My family enjoyed both!
Or if you want to whip up a quick valentine treat how about chocolate covered tangerines?
Happy Valentine’s Day!
